1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the WellPT Thrive mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

WellPT Thrive is a digital wellness and education platform designed to provide structured exercise guidance, health habit coaching, and condition-related education to adults aged 50 and older. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Medical Disclaimer

WellPT Thrive is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • The content, programs, and information provided through the App are for educational and general wellness purposes only.
  • The App does not replace professional medical care, physical therapy, or the advice of a licensed healthcare provider.
  • You should always consult your doctor or qualified health professional before beginning any new exercise program, especially if you have a chronic condition, recent surgery, injury, or are currently taking medications.
  • If you experience chest pain, dizziness, severe shortness of breath, sudden weakness, or any other alarming symptom during exercise, stop immediately and seek emergency medical care.

4. Eligibility

The App is intended for adults aged 18 and older. Users under the age of 18 are not permitted to create accounts or use the App without verified parental consent.

5. User Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration and onboarding.
  • You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Subscription & Billing

  • WellPT Thrive offers a 14-day free trial for new users, after which a paid subscription is required to continue accessing premium features.
  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected).
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided unless required by applicable law.
  • All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their respective payment terms. 

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the App’s systems
  • Share, reproduce, or distribute App content without written permission
  • Use the App to provide medical advice to others
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content to community features

8. Community Guidelines

WellPT Thrive includes a moderated community feature. All community interactions must be:

  • Positive and supportive
  • Achievement-based (not medical advice)
  • Respectful of other users’ privacy

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend users who violate community standards.

9. Intellectual Property

All content within WellPT Thrive — including exercise programs, educational materials, images, text, and the AI Coach — is the intellectual property of WellPT Thrive and its licensors. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WellPT Thrive and its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • Any injury, harm, or health outcome resulting from exercise performed using the App
  • Any reliance on App content as medical advice
  • Any technical interruption, data loss, or service unavailability

Use of this App is entirely at your own risk.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WellPT Thrive is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
